HG urges the UK ‘Get It Right the 1st Time’ with their first Roadshow

London, 5th February 2024 – Leading cleaning experts HG today announced they have launched their HG mould remover ‘Get It Right the 1st Time’ roadshow.

HG experts will be on hand to offer everyone advice on how to prevent and treat mould in their homes at London Waterloo Railway Station, on 8th February. Joined by the HG Mould Spray Mascot, commuters and travellers are invited to win prizes that will enable them to make their homes mould-free this winter and beyond.

Winter accelerates dampness, mould, and condensation for the 11.8 million people suffering from this problem in the UK and the 51% of private renters living with it in their homes.

Untreated mould can impact people’s health, especially the very young and old and those with weakened immune systems. HG will share their expert mould prevention tips around cleaning and ventilation as some of the ways to stop the fungus, with the British public in two of the UK’s busiest railway stations.

HG, Head of UK Sales, Gina Slade, said:

“We are delighted to share our first ‘Get It Right the 1st Time’ UK roadshow to demonstrate how people can tackle their mould issues head-on.  All of us at HG are very aware of the impact dampness and mould have on people’s health so we want to help out in this rising crisis by sharing our expert knowledge on how to prevent it and how to treat it. On our stand, our HG experts will offer cleaning advice and will also be there to have some fun with mould-busting prizes for travellers and commuters.”

    Gina continued:

“As part of our wider charitable commitments, HG has collaborated with Shelter in a campaign called ‘Together for Safer and Healthier Homes’. We are giving 5% of sales of our HG mould spray to Shelter until mid-May 2024 and promoting our expert knowledge on damp and mould alongside the charity to its communities. This will finance the creation of new digital tools on the Shelters website that could help 150,000 people living with complex or serious damp and mould problems get the advice and expert guidance they need. We can’t wait to continue to work together and launch the tools later this year.”

    HG will be exhibiting:

    • Birmingham New Street Railway Station, Thursday, 1st February 2024
    • London Waterloo Railway Station, Thursday, 8th February 2024
